Temporary traffic order in place for ‘No Parking in the road’ for Knightswood Road from Thursday 4th August to Monday 8th August from 8am to 5pm each day.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Is celebrated on Saturday morning after 9am Mass and before Saturday (Vigil) – 6.30pm – 6.55pm and after Vigil Mass. Fr Frank is also available for this Sacrament after daily Mass or at a time convenient to yourself if you can speak to him or phone the Church house.
SOLEMNITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
Will be celebrated on Sunday 14th August this year. Vigil Mass (7pm) on Saturday 13th August will begin this feast day.
MANY CONGRATULATIONS
We extend our warmest congratulations to all those who are celebrating wedding anniversaries, birthdays, graduations or any family celebrations at this time of the year.
We ask your prayers for seminarians Paul Brady (St Robert Bellarmine’s, Househillwood) and Tony Murphy (Sacred Heart, Cumbernauld) who will be ordained as permanent Deacons on 21st August and 2nd September.
We extend a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting our parish over the summer months – we thank you for the blessings you bring to us – may we enrich each other in hospitality and shared prayer.

HALL CAFÉ
We now have 5 parishioners who are willing to help organise and set up our Sunday morning hall café after 9am and 11am Masses. Again we appeal for more ‘helpers’ – our ideal number is for between 9 – 12 volunteers to help out on a ‘rota’ basis working as a team to prevent any pressure or workload on individuals. Please speak to Fr Frank or Deacon Tommy if you can help out. Many thanks.
WOMEN’S SUPPOT GROUP – ARCHDIOCESE OF GLASGOW
Our next meeting for women affected by separation and divorce will take place on Friday 19th August in St Patrick’s Church hall, Dumbarton (Strathleven Place) – from 6pm – 8pm. All new members are welcome to this confidential and peer support group.
