WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 2020
Next weekend, at His Holiness Pope Francis’ invitation, Catholics in parishes all over the world will be asked to contribute towards the Pontifical Mission Societies – his official charity for overseas mission – during World Mission Sunday. Our missionary religious, laity and priests live out their mission and support our sisters and brothers in faith throughout the world. We too can show that ‘together we are mission’ and play our part in the life of the Universal Church by supporting ‘Missio Scotland’ through our retiral collection next weekend.

We offer our warmest congratulations to our parish schoolchildren who have received their First Holy Communion over the past month – our thanks to our children’s parents and families, teachers, and parish Catechists for preparing our children for this most precious of Sacraments
– May we all continue to be strengthened in love and in the ‘breaking of bread’ –
